Edit a Candidate Profile

Working with candidates in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal often requires a review of candidate records. Additionally, changes to the candidate's record (such as updating contact information) may be necessary.

  1. Note: Candidates can update their contact information from their registered account. However, these updates are only applied to the candidate's default profile, not the candidate's requisition profile. Likewise, edits to a candidate's requisition profile are not saved to their default candidate profile.

Users must be assigned the Candidates > View/Edit Candidate Documents permission to complete this task. This permission is assigned in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal.

To edit a candidate profile

  1. In the Workflow pane, click on the candidate name to open the candidate requisition profile in the Details pane. Alternately, click on the candidate name in the Candidate List pane.

  2. Select the candidate profile tab that includes the information you wish to update ( Resume, Candidate Info, Profile, Workflow, or Offer / Prehire Info).

  3. Profile information is displayed a various panels on each tab. Locate the panel to edit.

  4. Click the Edit icon on the information panel. If the edit icon is not displayed on the panel, you do not have permission to edit the data.

  5. The Edit Candidate window opens.

  6. Update the fields that need to be changed.

  7. Click Spell Check to confirm spelling for all text fields.

  8. Click OK when the edits are complete.
