About Saved Searches

Recruiters or hiring managers can save the criteria that was used to create a search. When the search criteria is saved, it can be used again at a later time. Saved searches include the search criteria used when the search was created. In addition, recruiters can save search criteria from their custom search fields.

  1. Note: Saved searches do not include the search results.

Search criteria can be saved as either Private or Public. A private search can only be used by the user who created it. A public search can be used by all PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal users with access to the Search function. Recruiters or hiring managers must have the appropriate permissions to save a private or public search. These permissions are assigned in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal.

Users can unintentionally overwrite the search criteria of a public saved search if the user has disabled panels that are used in the saved search. For example, if a saved search uses the keyword field and a user without the Can edit Full Text criteria permission edits the geographic location of the original search and then saves it. The keyword is now lost for everyone else who uses that specific saved search.

If users in your organizations have different role permissions, we recommend that RMS Administrators unassign the Edit/Delete Anyone’s Public Searches permission in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal.

Saved Searches Panel

The Saved Searches panel allows recruiters to add a widget to the PeopleFluent Recruiting Dashboard to view all their saved searches. The panel displays saved search cards with the name of the saved search and the number of candidates in the search. You can click the saved search card to view the search results in a candidate list table. You must have the appropriate role permissions to add the widget to Dashboard. For more information on the widget see, Saved Searches Panel.
