Reference Material: Request a Requisition

On the Request a Requisition page, hiring managers can submit a request to recruiters to open a requisition in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal. Access to the request a requisition functionality is through a widget on the Recruiting Mirror dashboard.

The following table describes the fields that appear on the Request a Requisition page.

Field Name

Description

Position Title

The job title. This is a required field.

Reason for Position Opening

The reason there is an opening for this position (for example, backfill, new opening, newly created position).

Replacement For

Enter the name of the employee that the new hire would replace.

Target Start Date

Enter or select the date when the new hire should start.

Number of Openings per Req

Enter the number of available open positions for this particular requisition.

Position Budgeted

Enter whether your organization budgeted for this position? (Yes or No)

Location

Enter the geographical area where this position is located.

Shift

If applicable, enter the time period that is scheduled for this position (daytime or evening).

Hours of Work

Enter the total number of hours of work expected for this position (ex. 40 hours per week).

Experience Required

Enter the years of experience required for this position.

Employment Type

Enter whether the position is full-time or part-time.

Brief Job Description

Enter a brief description about the new position.

Recruiters

Type the name of the recruiter who should receive the requisition request. You can enter as many recruiters as you like. When you begin typing, a list of users with the recruiter role will display.

This is a required field.

Advanced Mode

Click this link at the top of the page to open PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal. If you have the appropriate role permissions, you can create the requisition instead of completing the Request a Requisition form.
