About Video Questionnaires

Video questionnaires are questionnaires that require video responses. Recruiters and hiring managers create video interview questionnaires for a job requisition and email the questions to the candidates for completion. Candidates use the PeopleFluent video recorder/player to record their response.

Note: Your organization must file a Change Request (CR) to implement the Video Questionnaire functionality. Please contact your PeopleFluent representative for more information.

Creating the Video Questionnaires

Video questionnaires are created in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal. To create the video your RMS administrator must:

Create questions with the Video control type that requires video responses only.
Create a workflow questionnaire trigger with video questionnaire settings selected and assign this trigger to a folder in a workflow. When this workflow trigger fires in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal, the recruiter is able to select a video questionnaire to send to a candidate.
Assign Show video Questionnaires History role permissions to a user role so that Video Questionnaires History Panel displays on a requisition. The Video Questionnaires History Panel lists each video questionnaire that is sent to a candidate and every video questionnaire response that is submitted by a candidate.
Assign Show Candidate Video Questionnaires role permissions to a user role so that the Candidate Video Questionnaires panel appears on the candidate profile.

Using Workflow Trigger to Send Video Questionnaire to Candidates

In PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal, administrators assign a video questionnaire workflow trigger to a particular workflow folder. For more information see Send Video Questionnaire to Candidate.

Recording the Video Questionnaire

Candidates are notified by email that they have a video questionnaire to complete. The first email contains a link to a secure online portal where the video questionnaire is located. The second email provides the password to the secure online portal. When the candidate logs in they can access the video questionnaire and launch the video player/recorder to record their response.

Depending on the device that the candidate uses to access the portal, the video player/recorder requires the following:

Desktop or Laptop Computer	Adobe Flash Player must be installed and activated. Video camera and microphone. A candidate must have access to these features.
Mobile	Built-in camera that is capable of recording video. Microphone An operating system that supports the use of HTML5.

Note: The video player is not supported on desktop or mobile configurations that do not meet these requirements.

Viewing the Video Questionnaire Responses

Recruiters can view and keep track of video questionnaire responses by viewing:
