Modify a Configurable Layout

Recruiters or users with the appropriate permissions can modify one of the four pre-configured layouts to construct their own workspace (except the Standard View layout). When a layout is modified, the changes are immediately saved and therefore, are available for use while in the Configuration Mode. This allows you to try out a new layout to find the optimal experience.

The Configurable Layouts icons do not initially appear on the Primary Navigation Bar. Instead, administrators must enable the UDLENABLED client parameter to access the Configurable Layouts functionality. For more information, see About Client Parameters.

To modify a layout

  1. From the Primary Navigation Bar, select a layout. The only layout that cannot be modified is the Standard View layout.

  2. Click the gear icon to switch to Configuration Mode.

  3. In Configuration Mode, you can redesign the layout by moving each dockable section using a drag and drop operation.

  4. In the Available Panels area, you can add a new section to the layout using a drag and drop operation. If you remove a section from the layout, it is moved back to the Available Panels area and can be added again for later use.

  5. In the Layout Name area, you can change layout name if desired.

  6. Click the gear icon to permanently save the modified layout. The updates made to the layout are reflected in the appropriate layout icon on the Primary Navigation Bar.

If you wish to return to the original layout, click Restore.
